Our Story
My name is Michelle Grano and this clothing line was born out of our vision to create a brand with a purpose.

In 2014 at the age of 36 I became a widow. My first husband died by suicide...but I also often say he died from "perfectionism". Life wasn't perfect and the thought of getting therapy to help deal with that devastated him.
My ability to cope in a post-loss world was limited. And on every important day in the life of my children I am haunted by the duality of my reality. Happy events bring many sad emotions. Years of therapy and a lot of self care and I still struggle with my own mental health.
Part of this brand was born from the pressure to appear put‑together and balanced because of the career I’m in. Two Truths exists to challenge that expectation — to remind people they don’t have to hide, minimize, or push away the reality of their mental health. You can live with two truths at once. You can be anxious and still be okay. You can be overwhelmed and still moving forward. You don’t need to “fix” yourself to be worthy or whole. Your mental health is part of who you are, and pieces like Probably Exhausted, Likely Overthinking Everything, and Might Be Worried are meant to make that honesty feel wearable, normal, and allowed.
Mental Health needs constant and consistent attention. Not a day or a month dedicated to it. Daily acknowledgement and effort. Some how this is acceptable for our physical "muscles" but not for our "mental" muscles.
Each year we will faithfully donate 5% of our annual proceeds to Canadians who need access to quality therapy. We are currently developing a process for this...so stay tuned.
We would love to see a world where access to mental health services is as easy as physical health services, but until that day comes, we will provide as much financial help as we can!
The Brand Concept

The geometric mark above the words is made of two overlapping arcs — one facing up, one facing down — forming a subtle mountain peak in the middle.
This shape represents:
Duality — two opposing forces coexisting
Balance — the tension between strength and softness
Perspective — how truth shifts depending on where you stand
Resilience — the mountain formed by what you’ve lived through
Designed with intention, enough to carry meaning.
The Meaning Behind the Shape
The upper arc is the truth the world sees.
The lower arc is the truth the wearer feels.
The peak formed in the middle is the you that rises from both.
It’s a visual metaphor for the brand’s message:
We carry two truths. And both are valid.
